It really is, though. Most BDSM blogs I know don’t tag their shit ‘bdsm’ though. That’s probably why.

It’s seriously tragic. I’ve had a horrible time trying to find good sex/kink Tumblrs to follow. On my porn blog, I always tag my posts with relevant tags. I know it doesn’t help much but at least it’s something.

OH AND ANOTHER THING—the BDSM blogs that do tag and post a lot? Everyone is white, everyone is thin, and everything is grossly photoshopped. I hate it so much. When I see a sexy photo and there is no cellulite, no stretch marks, and no body rolls, it’s such a fucking turn-off for me and I refuse to reblog it.

I know! No one in porn looks like me, and if they’re remotely close, they’re photoshopped to oblivion. I can’t stand it.

^^^ BDSM photography is full of white, cisgender, thin people with model looks who look like they’re just posing for a scene and aren’t actually into BDSM at all. The RL BDSM scene is far more diverse, so why isn’t it being reflected in the photography?

I vote somebody do their darndest to change this. It’s difficult, all problems considered above, but it’s definitely not impossible. Submissions, perhaps?
